Livre d’artiste autoédité Relics of Self fait partie des cinq projets finalistes du Prix du Livre d’Artiste Polyptyque 2026 (Marseille).
Relics of Self est un livre d’artiste photographique qui explore la reconfiguration du visage à l’ère de l’intelligence artificielle. À partir de selfies réalisés à l’iPhone puis transformés par une IA aujourd’hui disparue, le projet donne naissance à des figures hybrides où l’identité se fragmente, se démultiplie et se recompose.
Le livre prolonge cette réflexion par sa matérialité. Les superpositions de papiers, les transparences, les empreintes typographiques et les gestes artisanaux instaurent un dialogue entre technologies contemporaines et savoir-faire manuels. L’ouvrage devient un corps, une archive sensible où chaque page porte les traces d’une identité en constante transformation.

Self-published artist’s book Relics of Self is one of the five finalist projects for the 2026 Polyptyque Artist Book Prize (Marseille).
Relics of Self is a photographic artist’s book exploring the reconfiguration of the face in the age of artificial intelligence. Starting from iPhone selfies transformed by an AI system that no longer exists, the project gives rise to hybrid figures in which identity fragments, multiplies, and recomposes itself.
The book extends this reflection through its materiality. Layers of paper, transparencies, typographic imprints, and handmade interventions establish a dialogue between contemporary technologies and traditional craft practices. The book becomes a body, a sensitive archive in which each page bears the traces of an identity in constant transformation.
